Jeju City said it conducted on-site assessments of 165 travel agencies in the second half of the year and found 23 companies that did not meet the registration criteria.

The companies were found to fail meeting travel business standards as they were missing a warranty insurance or did not have a registered office space.

The remaining 142 companies are confirmed to comply with guidelines.

For companies failing to comply, Jeju City has issued administrative measure and issue corrective orders.





제주시, 등록기준 부적합 여행업체 23곳 적발


제주시가 올 하반기 165개 여행업체를 대상으로 현장지도를 실시해 등록기준에 부적합한 23개 업체를 적발했다고 밝혔습니다.

적발된 업체는 보증보험에 가입하지 않았거나 사무실을 확보하지 않아 여행업 등록 기준에 적합하지 않은 것으로 드러났습니다.

나머지 142개 업체는 정상 영업을 하고 있는 것으로 확인됐습니다.

제주시는 적발된 업체에 대해 시정명령 등 행정처분을 내렸습니다.
