Provincial audits identified negligence in work designated for Jeju fire authorities and procurement contracts.

The Provincial Audit Committee conducted a comprehensive audit targeting the Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters and fire departments under its jurisdiction. 11 administrative measures and four personnel status measures were issued.

Cases include public officials who do not meet criteria being appointed as 119 rescue workers. Others include violations in procurement where contracts were split to avoid public bids regulated for contracts worth over 200 million won.

Also allowances that were paid in full without any reduction to the personnel who are to receive disciplinary measures will be withdrawn.





소방 인력·계약업무 소홀 등 지적사항 수두룩


제주 소방당국이 구조대원 편성 업무와 물품 구매 계약 업무 등을 소홀히 한 것으로 감사 결과 드러났습니다.

제주특별자치도 감사위원회가 제주도소방안전본부와 관할 소방서를 대상으로 종합감사를 실시하고 모두 11건의 행정상 조치와 4명에 대한 신분상 조치를 요구했습니다.

주요 지적 사항은 기준에 맞지 않는 공무원을 119 구조대원으로 인사발령 하는가 하면

2억원 이상 물품을 구매할 때는 경쟁을 통해야 하는데도 쪼개기 발주로 수의계약으로 구매한 것으로 확인됐습니다.

이와함께 징계처분자에게 수당 등을 감액하지 않고 지급해 이를 회수하도록 요구했습니다.
