Public discussion research services will be carried out in earnest to introduce a new Jeju-type administrative system.

Jeju Island plans to invest 1.5 billion won in the project which will run until December 20th and will include performance assessments on current practices, check on the necessity of introducing a new administrative model, hold public discussions and referendums.

Research services will include specialized research, briefing sessions, discussion forums, polls, and the operation of civil groups.

Jeju Island plans to prepare a model for the introduction of the administrative system and implementation districts by August and plans to announce the new system in September.

제주형 행정체제 도입을 위한 공론화 연구용역이 본격 추진됩니다.


제주도는 사업비 15억 원을 투입해 오는 12월 20일까지 용역을 실시하고 현행 특별자치도에 대한 성과 분석과 제주형 행정체제 도입의 필요성,도입 모형안과 공론화, 주민투표 방안을 제시할 계획입니다.


연구 용역은 전문 연구 분야와 설명회, 토론회, 여론조사와 도민참여단 운영 등
공론화 분야로 나눠 추진됩니다.


제주도는 오는 8월까지 행정체제 도입 모형안과 구역 설정안을 마련하고, 9월에는 제주형 행정체제 도입안을 제시할 계획입니다.
