Last year, air traffic at Jeju Airport hit an all-time high.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the number of flights passing through Jeju Airport last year reached 177,000, an increase of 7% from the previous year.

In comparison by airport nationwide, it ranked second after Incheon Airport.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport explained that the sky road, which had been closed due to changes in quarantine policies, will recover and air traffic will continue to increase for the time being.

지난해 제주공항 항공 교통량이 역대 최대치를 경신했습니다.

국토교통부에 따르면 지난 해 제주공항 하늘길을 이용한 한공기는 17만 7천여 대로 종전 최대였던 전년 보다 7% 가량 늘었습니다.


전국 공항별 비교에서도 인천 공항에 이어 2위를 차지했습니다.

국토부는 방역 정책이 변경되면서 닫혔던 하늘길이 회복되며 항공 교통량은 당분간 증가세를 유지할 것이라고 설명했습니다.
