The Jeju Eastern Health Center conducts winter mosquito larvae control work during the winter season.

Starting with public toilets purifier at (남생이못) Namsaengimot Pond in Jocheon-eup this month, the government will roll out mosquito control activities to prevent reproduction at mosquito larvae habitats.

The Dongbu Health Center called for active participation from citizens, stressing that controlling mosquitoes at the reproduction stage can reduce costs.




동부보건서, 동절기 모기 유충 방제작업 시작


제주동부보건소가 동절기 월동 모기 유충 방제 작업을 실시합니다.

이달 조천읍 남생이못 공중화장실 정화조를 시작으로 모기 유충 서식지 50여 개소를 대상으로 방제약을 살포할 계획입니다.

동부보건소는 모기가 성충으로 부화하기 전 유충 단계에서 방제를 하면 경제적 비용을 절감할 수 있다며, 시민들의 적극적인 참여를 당부했습니다.
