In the aftermath of COVID-19, it has been found that the number of restaurants increased while the number of pubs and bars decreased.

According to Jeju City, 20,026 public food sanitation centers were established in Jeju City last year, which is an increase of 19.6% from 2018 before COVID-19.

In particular, the island has seen an increase of 1,000 restaurants and an addition of 604 stores that make, process and sell on the spot.

Meanwhile the number of laundry and bathing industries decreased. In addition a total of 70 karaoke bars and 29 entertainment bars closed their businesses.

코로나19 여파로 휴게 음식점 등은 증가하고 단란주점이나 유흥주점은 감소한 것으로 조사됐습니다.


제주시에 따르면 지난해 제주시 지역
공중 식품 위생업소는 2만 26개소로
코로나19 이전인 2018년보다 19.6% 증가했습니다.


특히 이 기간 휴게 음식점은 1천여 곳,
즉석판매 제조·가공업은 604곳 증가한 것으로 집계됐습니다.

반면 단란주점은 70여 곳, 유흥주점은 29곳이 줄고 세탁과 목욕업도 감소한 것으로 나타났습니다.
