The Province together with the Jeju Lifelong Education Scholarship Promotion Agency will select 235 scholarships to foster Jeju talent this year.

Elementary, middle, and high school students will be provided up to 1 million won per student, and college and graduate students will receive up to 2 million won within the tuition range.

There are four different categories of scholarships: scholarship for excellent performance, financial difficulties, students with good performance in the field of arts and sports, and for high school students who live in rural areas.

Applications will be made from the 2nd to the 24th of next month, and results are expected to be announced in April after deliberation by a judging committee.




인재육성 장학생 235명 선발…최대 200만원


제주특별자치도와 제주평생교육장학진흥원이 올해 제주인재육성 장학생으로 235명을 선발합니다.

초.중.고등학생은 1인당 최대 100만원, 대학생과 대학원생의 경우 등록금 범위에서 최대 200만원까지 지원됩니다.

장학금 종류는 성적이 우수하거나 경제적으로 어려운 학생, 예체능 분야에서 성과를 보인 경우, 농어촌 지역 고등학생 등 4가지입니다.

신청은 다음달 2일부터 24일까지이며 선발 결과는 심사위원회의 심의를 거쳐 오는 4월쯤 발표될 예정입니다.
