The Jeju Provincial Police Force will install and operate traffic signals at 10 intersections with a high risk of traffic accidents.

Areas of target include (아라일동) Arail-dong and (영형동)Yeongpyeong-dong, (신례리) Sinrye-ri, Namwon, and (서홍) Seohong-dong and (동홍) Dongheong-dong, Seogwipo-si.

The autonomous police team plans to increase the effectiveness of the new operation by monitoring the signal system for the next six months and adjusting it from time to time.

제주도 자치경찰단이 교통사고 위험이 높은 교차로 10개소에 교통신호기를 확대 설치 운영합니다.

추가 설치되는 지역은 아라일동과 영평동, 남원 신례리, 서귀포시 서홍.동홍동 등입니다.

자치경찰단은 앞으로 6개월간 신호체계를 모니터링 하면서 수시 조정하는 등 신규 가동에 따른 개선효과를 높여나갈 계획입니다.
