The basic plans of the Oh Young-hoon administration’s pledge of creating the so-called ‘15 minute city’ are ready to be initiated.

The Island plans to spend 500 million won on the ‘15 minute city’ project and request it to the Jeju Research Institute by February next year.

In relation, a suitable construction plan will be established and a pilot district promotion plan will be prepared in each of the two administrative cities, towns and villages.

In addition, a citizen participation group of approximately 200 residents will be formed and operated to collect various opinions from the planning stage.

민선 8기 핵심공약인 15분 도시 제주 조성을 위한 기본구상 수립 용역이 추진됩니다.

제주도는 사업비 5억원을 들여 내년 2월까지 제주연구원에 의뢰해 15분 도시 제주 관련 용역을 진행합니다.

제주에 적합한 15분 도시 구축 계획을 수립하고 양 행정시 동 지역과 읍면 지역에 각각 1곳씩 시범지구 추진계획을 마련하게 됩니다.

이와 함께 계획 단계부터 다양한 의견을 수렴하기 위해 도민 200여명으로 '도민참여단'을 구성해 운영합니다.
