Last year, Jeju City conducted a map inspection of sanitary facilities and detected 310 places that violated related laws. Accordingly, administrative measures were taken including suspension of business.

By category, eight places were caught violating the Public Health Management Act, including offering accommodation to adolescents of opposite genders who are not married, and public baths with inadequate water quality.
Other cases that were caught include 217 violations against the Food Sanitation Act such as offering alcohol to teenagers and storing expired foods.

Jeju City has also taken criminal charges against 22 unregistered businesses that cooked and sold food using vehicles or facilities.

제주시가 지난해 위생업소에 대한 지도 점검을 벌여 관련 법률을 위반한 310곳을 적발하고 영업정지 등 행정처분 했습니다.

유형별로는 청소년 이성혼숙과
목욕탕 수질기준 부적합 등
공중위생관리법 위반으로 8곳이 적발됐습니다.

또 청소년 주류 제공과 유통기한이 지난 식자재 보관 등 식품위생법 위반도 217곳이 적발됐습니다.

제주시는 차량 또는 시설물 등을 이용해 음식을 조리하고 판매한 무신고 영업행위 22건에 대해서는 형사고발 조치했습니다.
