With massive damage caused by the strong earthquake in Turkey, Jeju Island is strengthening its comprehensive earthquake prevention measures.

Jeju aims to secure the earthquake-resistant efficiency of public facilities in the province from its current rate of 70% to 100% by 2030.

In addition, for the first time this year, the province will support costs for earthquake-resistant reinforcement of private buildings.

20% of the cost of earthquake-resistant reinforcement will be provided for multi-use buildings with a floor area of more than 1,000 square meters. In addition, benefits will still be covered up to 10% of the gross floor area of buildings for earthquake-resistant reinforcement on buildings that are not targeted.

New buildings certified for earthquake safety facilities will receive a 5% reduction in acquisition tax by 2024.




지진방재 대책 강화…민간 내진보강 비용 지원

제주도가 지진방재 종합대책을 강화합니다.

현재 70%인 도내 공공시설물의 내진성능 확보율을 2030년까지 100%를 목표로 추진합니다.

특히 올해 처음으로 민간 건축물에 대한 내진보강 비용을 지원합니다.

연면적 1천 제곱미터 이상의 다중이용건물물의 경우 내진보강공사 비용의 20%를, 건축 당시 내진 설계 대상이 아님에도 내진보강 공사를 실시한 경우 건축물의 연면적 합계 10% 이내에서 용적률 완화 혜택을 제공합니다.

지진안전 시설물 인증을 받은 신축 건축물은 2024년까지 취득세 5%의 감면 혜택이 주어집니다.
