Rehabilitation costs are provided to support disabled infants in the province.

From next month, the Jeju Provincial Office of Education will help rehabilitate children with disabilities and reduce the financial burden on parents by offering a "child care card for disabled children."

The amount of support is limited to 160,000 won per month and can be used for treatment expenses such as language, art therapy, and rehabilitation psychology at rehabilitation treatment agencies.

Eligibility for application includes 3 to 5-year-old disabled children living in a home, welfare facility, or daycare center and can be submitted to the Jeju City and Seogwipo City Office of Education. This does not apply for Kindergartens.





도교육청, 장애유아 재활치료비 지원…매월 16만원


제주도내 장애 유아들에게 재활치료비가 지원됩니다.

제주도교육청은 다음달부터 장애 유아의 재활을 돕고 학부모의 경제적 부담을 경감시키기 위해
'장애유아치료 카드'를 지원한다고 밝혔습니다.

지원 규모는 매월 16만원 한도로 재활치료 제공기관에서 언어와 미술치료, 재활심리 등 치료비로 사용할 수 있습니다.

신청 자격은 유치원이 아닌 가정아니 복지시설, 어린이집 등에서 생활하고 있는 만 3살에서 5살 장애 유아로 제주시와 서귀포시교육지원청으로 접수하면 됩니다.
