Jeju Island's World Heritage Headquarters has published a booklet summarizing the milestones of 20 years since the designation of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in December 2002.

The booklet, along with the first designation process of a biosphere reserve contains various activities to improve its sustainability after designation.

In addition, various business activities such as revitalizing ecotourism villages and utilizing brands in biosphere reserves are included.

The UNESCO booklet will be distributed to public libraries and anyone can access it through the Jeju Island website.

제주도 세계유산본부가 2002년 12월 유네스코 생물권보전지역 지정 이후 20년간의 발자취를 정리한 책자를 발간했습니다.

책자에는 생물권보전지역 최초의 지정과정과 함께
지정 후 지속가능성을 실현하기 위한 다양한 활동이 담겼습니다.


이와함께 생태관광마을 활성화와 생물권보전지역 브랜드 활용 등 다양한 사업활동도 수록됐습니다.

'유네스코 제주도 생물권보전지역, 20년'은 공공 도서관 등에 배부될 예정이며 제주도 누리집을 통해 누구나 열람할 수 있습니다.
