For the first time in the country, the Jeju Agricultural Products Supply and Demand Management Association is establishing an autonomous control system centered on producers from agricultural production to distribution.

The province has put together a basic plan for the establishment of the Agricultural Supply and Demand Management Association.

The main content includes plans to stabilize farmers' income through producer-centered supply and demand control, price stabilization, and administrative support.

To this end, a relevant ordinance was enacted and a corporation was established within the first half of the year and a pilot project will be conducted for tangerine and carrot items for the second half.

Next year, it will be expanded to winter radish, cabbage, and broccoli items.

Jeju Island expects the implementation of the system will help resolve overproduction market isolation issues that occur each year and establish an integrated policy for supply and demand stability.




‘생산부터 유통까지' 농산물수급관리연합회 설립 시동


전국 최초로 농산물 생산에서 유통까지 생산자 중심의 자율적인 수급조절 체계를 구축할 제주농산물 수급관리연합회 설립방안이 구체화되고 있습니다.

제주도는 이같은 내용을 담은 제주농산물 수급관리연합회 설립 기본계획안을 마련했습니다.


주요내용을 보면
생산자 중심의 수급조절과 가격안정제 운영,
행정의 지원을 통해 최종적으로 농업인의 안정적인 소득을 보장받는 구조입니다.


이를 위해 올해 상반기내에 관련조례 제정과 법인을 설립하고 하반기에는 감귤과 당근 품목을 대상으로 시범사업을 실시합니다.

내년에는 월동무와 양배추, 브로콜리 품목으로 확대하게 됩니다.

제주도는 이같은 제도 시행으로 매년 반복되는 농산물 과잉생산과 시장격리 문제를 해결하고 수급안정 통합정책의 수립을 기대하고 있습니다.
