The Province has decided to pay incentives to promote employment for the elderly again this year and is asking companies to actively participate.

It is a system implemented only in Jeju that provides up to 200,000 won per month for one elderly hire and offers up to a total of 1 million won per company to support up to 5 people.

Applications are made until the 5th of each quarter and can be made at each district’s community center of where your business is registered.

Subject to the application must have employed elders who are 65 years or older and run a business with less than 50 full-time workers.

Last year, Jeju Island provided 1.35 billion won in incentives to 328 businesses that hired 727 senior citizens in various fields such as apartment security, beautification, gas workers, and daycare center drivers.




'월 20만원' 노인고용장려금 지급…매분기 신청


제주특별자치도가 올해도 노인고용촉진장려금을 지급하기로 하고 업체의 적극적인 참여를 당부하고 있습니다.

노인 1명을 고용할 경우 월 20만원씩 업체당 최대 5명까지 100만원을 지원하는 전국에서 유일하게 제주에서만 시행하는 제도입니다.

신청은 매 분기 5일까지이며 사업장 관할 읍면동 주민센터에서 이뤄집니다.

신청대상은 만 65살 이상 노인을 고용한 상시 근로자수가 50인 미만인 사업체로 근로계약을 체결해 고용한 지 2개월이 지나야 합니다.

제주도는 지난해 아파트 경비와 미화, 주유원, 어린이집 운전원 등 다양한 분야에서 727명의 어르신을 고용한 328개 사업체에 13억 5천만원의 장려금을 지원한 바 있습니다.
