The Jeju Provincial Office of Education (POE) will add additional fixed term teachers in addition to the quota due to overcrowding of special classes.

A total of 32 teachers, including 4 kindergarten and 13 elementary school teachers will be assigned to schools that are dealing with challenges in establishing or expanding the number of special classes.

The additional support for special teachers was decided after a demand survey was held on public schools with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

The POE has established or expanded 19 special classes this year.




도교육청, 과밀 특수학급에 기간제 교사 추가 배정


제주도교육청이 과밀 특수학급 지원을 위해 정원 외로 기간제 특수교사를 추가 지원합니다.

지원 인원은 유치원 4명과 초등학교 13명 등 32명으로 특수학급 신설이나 증설이 어려운 학교에 배정됩니다.

특수교사 추가 지원은 교육부의 승인을 받아 공립학교를 대상으로 수요조사를 거쳐 결정됐습니다.
