The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport will introduce a compensation measure for residents who experience aircraft noise around airports.

It will be applied to six private airports, including Jeju, and will be implemented sequentially through revision work and pilot projects.

Until now soundproofing and cooling facilities have been installed for residents. Going forward, cash or actual expenses will be offered to allow residents to choose how they will be used or on what facility specifications they will use the funds according to individual preferences.

In addition, 230,000 won per household per year will be provided instead of electricity or TV license fees. Also, an additional 100,000 won will be provided to households that did not receive air conditioning facilities or if ten years have passed since installation.





국토부, 공항 소음 피해보상으로 '현금' 지


국토교통부가 공항 주변 소음피해 주민에게 보상대책의 하나로 현금 지원방식을 도입합니다.

제주를 비롯한 6개 민간공항에 적용되며 법령 개정작업과 시범사업 등을 통해 순차적으로 시행됩니다.

지금까지 방음시설이나 냉방시설을 직접 설치해 줬지만 앞으로는 현금이나 실비용을 지원해 개별 선호도에 맞게 사용처와 시설사양 등을 선택할 수 있도록 합니다.

현재 전기료나 TV 수신료 대신 세대당 연간 23만원을, 냉방시설을 지원받지 못했거나 지원 후 10년이 지난 세대에는 10만원씩 추가 지원합니다.
