An additional 119 rescue dog has been deployed to Jeju.

The Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters announced that it would establish a dedicated operation team for 119 rescue dogs and deploy an additional rescue dog to help with rescue activities.

(강호) Kang Ho, a Shepherd dog breed rescue dog has been trained to be deployed to mountainous and disaster sites.

As a result, the number of 119 rescue dogs in Jeju, along with (초롱) Cho Rong, a labrador retriever, has increased to two.






119구조견 추가 배치…'산악·재난' 현장 투입


제주에 119 구조견이 추가 배치됐습니다.

제주도소방안전본부는 119구조견 전담 운영팀을 신설하고 구조견 1마리를 추가로 배치해 현장에 투입한다고 밝혔습니다.

셰퍼드 종인 구조견 강호'는 산악과 재난 현장에 실전 투입할 수 있도록 전문 훈련을 받았습니다.

이로써 제주에는 래브라도 리트리버 종인 '초롱'이와 함께 119 구조견이 2마리로 늘었습니다.
