Seogwipo City will strengthen inspections on private sewage treatment facilities.

A total of 3,700 facilities will be inspected to check the internal cleaning, and for any cases that exceed the standard of water quality for discharged water this year.

In particular, plans are in place to reduce biochemical oxygen demand and enhance the water quality of discharged water through chlorine disinfection by injecting fungicides into all facilities.

Seogwipo City plans to strictly conduct on-site guidance on the failed facilities and impose fines for any misconduct even in the final stages of investigation.




서귀포시, 개인하수처리시설 지도점검 강화


서귀포시가 개인하수처리시설에 대한 지도 점검을 강화합니다.

이를 위해 올해 3천700여개소에 대해 시설 정상가동 여부와 내부 청소, 방류수 수질 기준 초과 여부 등을 점검합니다.

특히 모든 시설에 종균제를 투입해 생물화학적 산소요구량을 낮추고 염소소독으로 방류수 수질을 개선할 계획입니다.

서귀포시는 고장 시설에 대해 현장 계도하고 최종 점검 결과에서도 조치를 취하지 않을 경우 과태료를 부과할 방침입니다.
