Jeju is pursuing the establishment of a supplementary budget plan to revitalize the local economy and stabilize the livelihoods of ordinary households in response to worsening economic conditions.

The main target of support will be vulnerable social groups, low-income earners, small business owners, youth, and self-employed workers, and the funds will be allocated by focusing on projects that have a significant ripple effect in revitalizing the local economy.

Jeju province plans to receive budget requests until the end of the month, will proceed examinations and budget adjustments, and submit the supplementary budget plan to the Jeju Island Council on April 28th.
If the plan is submitted as planned, it is expected to be reviewed during the interim session of the council in May.




제주도, '민생경제 활성화' 추가경정예산 편성 추진


제주도가 고물가와 고이율 등 경제여건 악화에 따라 민생경제 활력과 서민가계 안정을 위한 추가경정예산안 편성을 추진합니다.

이번 추경에서는 사회적 취약계층과 저소득층, 소상공인, 청년, 영세 종사자 등을 주요 지원 대상으로 하고 내수진작을 통해 지역 경제 활성화 파급 효과가 큰 사업을 중심으로 발굴해 재원을 배분할 방침입니다.

제주도는 이달 말까지 예산 요구를 받고 실무심사와 예산안 조정 과정을 거쳐 다음달 28일 제주도의회에 추경예산안을 제출할 계획입니다.

계획대로 추경안이 제출되면 5월 도의회 임시회 회기 중 심사가 이뤄질 것으로 예상됩니다.
