Seogwipo City will conduct a special inspection of public restrooms at tourist attractions and amusement parks until the 31st of this month.

The inspection will target public restrooms at 390 locations, including tourist attractions, parks, and Olle trails.

The inspection will include assessment on cleanliness, access to convenience amenities, damaged facilities, installation of any unauthorized cameras, and whether emergency bells are functioning properly.

In particular, following measures to install emergency bells at public restrooms by July, Jeju is actively promoting and managing the installation of emergency bells for safety within the restrooms.

서귀포시가 오는 31일까지 관광지와 유원지 공중화장실을 특별 점검합니다.

점검대상은 관광지와 공원, 올레길 등 390여개소의 공중화장실이며, 청결상태와 편의용품 비치 상태, 시설물 파손 여부, 불법카메라 설치 여부와 비상벨 정상 작동 여부를 점검합니다.

특히 오는 7월까지 공중화장실 비상벨 설치가 의무화됨에 따라 공중화장실 내 안심비상벨 설치를 적극 추진하고 관리한다는 계획입니다.
