Jeju Island is providing support for the improvement of tourism-related facilities to enhance the accessibility for people with disabilities and pregnant women.

The target recipients are private tourist sites, accommodations, pensions, and other tourism-related businesses, with maximum support of up to 7 million won per business.

Applications can be made through the Jeju Tourism Association's website until the 14th of next month.

Jeju Island established the first ordinance in the nation in 2013 to create an accessible tourism environment for people with disabilities and has been supporting facilities and equipment for this purpose.

제주도가 관광지 내 장애인과 임산부 등의 접근성을 높이기 위해 편의시설 정비를 지원합니다.

지원대상은 사설관광지와 숙박, 펜션업 등 관광사업체로 업체당 최대 7백만 원까지입니다.

신청은 오는 14일까지 제주도관광협회 누리집을 통해 가능합니다.

제주도는 지난 2013년 전국 최초로 관광약자의 접근가능한 관광환경 조성 조례를 제정하고 시설과 장비를 지원하고 있습니다.
