The coverage of the civilian safety insurance, which compensates for unexpected accidents in daily life, will be expanded.

Jeju Island announced that it will expand the coverage of the civilian safety insurance to compensate for damages caused by natural disasters and social disasters such as the Itaewon tragedy.

As a result, the number of coverage items has increased from 22 last year to 28 this year, and support of up to KRW 20 million will be provided for each coverage item.

Jeju Island residents with a registered address in the province will be automatically enrolled in the civilian safety insurance without any separate procedure and can receive benefits in addition to their individual insurance.




도민안전보험 보장범위 확대…자연재해·사회재난 추가


일상생활 중 예상치 못한 불의의 사고에 보상받을 수 있는 도민안전보험 보장범위가 확대됩니다.

제주도는 올해부터 자연재해와 이태원 참사와 같은 사회재난 피해를 보상할 수 있도록 도민안전보험 보장 항목을 확대했다고 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 보장항목은 지난해 22개에서 올해 28개 항목으로 늘어나고 보장항목별로 최대 2천만원까지 지원됩니다.

도민안전보험은 제주도에 주민등록을 둔 도민이면 별도의 절차없이 자동 가입되며 개인별로 가입한 보험과 중복해 혜택을 받을 수 있습니다.
