Most non-membership golf courses in the province are transitioning to public golf courses.


The province announced that out of the 25 non-membership golf courses on the island, 22 have applied for public course designation and have been designated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. They are currently undergoing the process of changing their registration status.


This change is due to the revision of related laws, and the golf course classification system has been reorganized into three categories: membership, non-membership, and public courses from this year.


In particular, the designation as public courses is interpreted as a measure to be exempted from taxes, such as individual consumption tax.

If designated as public courses, fees will then be decided upon depending on government standards.

대중제 지정을 신청해
현재 문화체육관광부로부터 모두 지정받아
변경등록절차를 진행하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

이는 관련 법 개정으로
올해부터 골프장 분류 체계가
회원제와 비회원제, 대중제 세가지로 개편된데 따른 겁니다.

특히 해당 업체들이
개별소비세 등 일부 세금의 면제 혜택을 받기 위한 차원으로
풀이됩니다.

대중형 골프장으로 지정되면
정부의 상한 기준에 따라 그린피 등 이용료를 책정해야 합니다.
