Jeju Island will invest 156 billion won in improving water supply facilities for vulnerable rural areas.

The province plans to begin construction on water supply facilities in 10 towns and 13 districts this month and complete them by the end of the year. In addition, Jeju will simultaneously carry out pipeline construction and alternative water source development projects to establish a stable water supply system.

The plan is to initiate all water supply facility improvement-related projects in the first half of this year and alleviate inconveniences.

우선 도내 10개 읍면 13개 지구 상수도 시설 공사를
이달 중 착공해 연말까지 준공할 계획입니다.

또 송수관로 시설공사와 대체 취수원 개발사업도 병행해
안정적인 물 공급 운영체계를 구축합니다.

제주도는 상반기에 상수도 시설개선사업 관련 모든 공사를 발주해
불편을 해소해 나갈 방침입니다
