The Jeju Provincial Council's Health, Welfare, and Safety Committee
has passed a revised ordinance for the operation of local police affairs and the local police committee
that includes provisions for offering rewards for reporting drunk driving incidents.

The revised ordinance includes provisions for offering rewards based on
a legal basis for giving rewards for reporting drunk driving incidents
and incorporating this matter into local police affairs.

The specific reward amounts will be determined after the revised ordinance is passed and the Jeju Police Agency and other relevant organizations review it.
