Starting next month, illegal parking will be strictly enforced on roads near the Halla Mountain 1100m rest area.

Seogwipo City announced plans to install unmanned enforcement equipment near the Halla Mountain 1100m resting area and begin full-scale enforcement starting next month.

Earlier this month, signages and road markings were completed, and promotion of the enforcement and trial operations will be carried out.

The area near the Halla Mountain 1100m rest area is a high-traffic area for visitors who come to enjoy the scenic views of Halla Mountain, leading to high risk of traffic congestion and accidents due to illegal parking.




1100고지 휴게소 불법주정차 무인 단속


다음달부터 한라산 1100고지 휴게소 인근 도로에서
불법 주정차 단속이 이뤄집니다.

서귀포시는 한라산 1100고지 인근에 무인단속장비를 설치하고 다음달부터 본격적인 단속을 실시할 계획이라고 밝혔습니다.

앞서 이달 중 표지판 설치와 노면 차선 도색을 완료하고
불법주정차 단속 안내 홍보와 시범 운영을 거칠 예정입니다.

1100고지 휴게소 인근은 매년 한라산 설경을 보기 위해
많은 방문객들이 찾으면서 주정차로 인한 교통정체와
안전사고 위험이 높은 구간입니다.
