Jeju City provides support for artificial ear canal transplantation surgery and rehabilitation therapy for hearing-impaired individuals.

The support targets low-income hearing-impaired individuals with severe hearing loss who do not benefit from wearing hearing aids.

The surgery for artificial ear canal transplantation is supported up to a maximum of 7 million won, and the maximum amount of support for rehabilitation and other treatments amounts to 3 million won.

To apply, individuals should bring their identification card and a surgery eligibility certificate issued by a medical institution to their local town or neighborhood community center.

제주시가 청각장애인 인공 달팽이관 이식수술과
재활치료 비용을 지원합니다.

지원 대상은 보청기를 착용해도 청력에 도움이 되지 않는 고도난청을 겪고 있는 저소득층 청각장애인입니다.

인공달팽이관 수술비는 최대 700만원,
재활 등의 치료비는 최대 300만원이 지원됩니다.

신청은 신분증과 의료기관이 발급한 수술가능확인서를 지참해 주소지 읍면동 주민센터에서 하면 됩니다.
