In the future, when using pet transportation equipment, a locking device must be equipped to prevent pets from escaping.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, a revised enforcement ordinance of the Animal Protection Act, which includes this provision, has been implemented.

The revised enforcement ordinance stipulates that when tying a pet on a leash, the length of the leash must be at least 2 meters long, and even within quasi-residential areas such as dormitories and office-tels, the movement of pets must be restricted by a leash or other means.

In addition, the area where large dogs are prohibited from entering has been expanded to include elderly welfare facilities, facilities for the disabled, and children's play facilities.





반려견 이동장비에 잠금장치 갖춰야

앞으로 반려견 이동장비를 사용하는 경우
반려견이 탈출하지 못하도록 잠금장치를 갖춰야 합니다.

농림축산식품부에 따르면 이 같은 내용을 포함한
개정된 동물보호법 시행령이 시행됐습니다.



개정된 시행령에는
반려동물을 줄로 묶어 기르는 경우 줄의 길이는 2m 이상이어야 하며 기숙사나 오피스텔 등 준주택 내부에서도
목줄 등으로 반려견 이동을 제한하도록 했습니다.


또 맹견의 출입금지 지역이
노인복지시설과 장애인복지시설, 어린이놀이시설까지 확대됐습니다.
