The Jeju Provincial Audit Committee conducted a comprehensive audit of the Jeju Health and Environment Research Institute and the Jeju Culture and Arts Promotion Foundation, resulting in a demand for 19 administrative measures and disciplinary action against nine individuals.

The audit found that the Health and Environment Research Institute had assigned staff to departments dealing with hazardous substances without conducting health assessments.
Furthermore, even after adapting a real-time air pollutant monitoring system, the organization merely monitored the hazardous substances without any in-depth research or analysis.

Meanwhile, the Culture and Arts Promotion Foundation was found to have approved exhibition venue rentals without screening individuals and neglected safety inspections and repairs of its facilities.

제주도감사위원회가 보건환경연구원과 제주도문화예술진흥원에 대한 종합감사를 벌여
19건의 행정상 조치와 9명에 대한
신분상 조치 처분을 요구했습니다.

보건환경연구원의 경우 건강진단을 실시하지 않은 채
유해인자를 취급하는 부서에 직원을 배치하는가 하면
대기물질 실시간 이동측정시스템을 구입한 후
유해물질을 측정한 값만 관리하고
유의미한 연구나 분석활동을 하지 않은 것으로 나타났습니다.



문화예술진흥원의 경우 전시실 대관 신청을 심의하면서
신청인과 이해관계가 있는 운영위원을 제척하지 않는가 하면 공연장 시설 안전검사결과 교체가 필요한 시설을 그대로 방치한 것으로 조사됐습니다.
