Jeju City is distributing televisions for visually and hearing impaired individuals.

These specialized televisions come with customized menus and functions, including subtitles, screen adjustments, and sign language broadcasts, to make them more accessible for individuals with visual and hearing impairments.

Target recipients are individuals registered with the Ministry of Health and Welfare as visually or hearing impaired, or those with visual or hearing disabilities registered with the National Veterans Affairs Office, and will be selected based on their disability level and age.

Those who wish to apply for the TVs can do so at their local community center or online by May 26th.

제주시가 시각 청각 장애인용 TV를 보급합니다.

시각.청각 장애인 전용 TV는 자막과 화면, 수어 방송 등을 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 맞춤형 메뉴와 기능이 탑재돼 있는 일체형 TV입니다.

신청 대상은 보건복지부 등록 시각.청각 장애인 또는 국가보훈처 등록 눈, 귀 상이등급자로 장애 정도와 연령 등을 고려해 우선순위에 따라 선정됩니다.

신청을 희망하는 대상자는 오는 26일까지 읍면동 주민센터나 온라인으로 신청하면 됩니다.
