Apartment sales took another downturn this month due to the sluggish economy.

According to the Korea Housing Institute, the local apartment pre-sales outlook index for this month is 70.6, a decrease of 16.9 points compared to a month ago, showing the second-highest drop in the country after (전북) Jeonbuk.

The apartment pre-sales outlook is expected to decline again due to regional economic concerns and recent fraudulent lease scams, which have discouraged local apartment purchases by gap investors.

실수요자가 아닌 갭투자자들의 지방 아파트 구매동기가 위축되면서 아파트 분양 전망이 재차 악화된 것으로 분석됐습니다.
