It has been revealed that the number of complaints for livestock odor in the Seogwipo region has increased by approximately 20% compared to last year.

According to Seogwipo City, the number of complaints regarding livestock odor has reached 279 cases as of May this year, which is an increase of about 20% compared to the same period last year.

Approximately 45% of the complaints about livestock odor were reported during nighttime.

Seogwipo City plans to strengthen guidance and inspections for local pig farms and related businesses to minimize residents' inconvenience and actively respond to complaints about livestock odor.

지난해 같은 기간보다 약 20% 증가했습니다.

축산악취 민원의 45% 정도가 야간에 발생한 것으로
집계됐습니다.

서귀포시는 주민 불편 최소화를 위해
지역 양돈농가와 관련 업체에 대한 지도 점검을 강화해
축산악취 민원에 적극 대응한다는 계획입니다.
