The mandatory quarantine for confirmed COVID-19 cases is now lifted.

The Central Disease Control Headquarters has downgraded the COVID-19 crisis alert level from 'serious' to 'caution' and changed the mandatory one-week quarantine for confirmed cases to a recommended five-day measure.

As a result, the decision to quarantine confirmed patients will be left to the discretion of the patients themselves, and those who are already in quarantine will have the quarantine lifted retroactively.

The mandatory indoor mask-wearing requirement will also be lifted in all locations except hospitals with inpatient facilities.

However, preemptive testing for hospitalized patients and their caregivers will continue to be maintained for infection control purposes.

이제 코로나19 확진자 격리 의무가 해제됩니다.
중앙방역대책본부는
코로나19 위기 경보를
'심각'에서 '경계'로 하향 조정하고
확진자의 일주일 격리 의무를 '5일 권고 조치'로 변경합니다.

이에따라 앞으로 확진자 격리 여부는
환자 자율에 맡겨지며
이미 격리중인 확진자에도 소급적용돼 격리가 해제됩니다.

실내 마스크 착용 의무도
입원 병실이 있는 병원 이외의 모든 장소에서 해제됩니다.

다만 의료기관의 감염관리를 위해
입원환자와 보호자의 선제검사는 현행대로 유지됩니다.
