In April, while industrial production in the Jeju region declined, consumption showed an increase.

According to the Industrial Activity Trends announced by the Jeju Branch of Statistics Korea, industrial production in the local mining and manufacturing sector decreased by 2.6% compared to the same month of the previous year, marking a consecutive decline for two months.

However, compared to one year ago, exports increased by 2.5%, and inventory was found to have decreased significantly by 34.9%.

The sales index of large retail stores, which is an indicator of local consumption, increased by 14.5%, returning to a growth trend after three months.

2개월 연속 감소세를 기록했습니다.

출하는 1년 전과 비교해 2.5% 증가했고
재고는 34.9% 크게 감소한 것으로 조사됐습니다.

도내 소비지표인 대형소매점 판매액지수는 14.5% 늘며
3개월 만에 증가세로 돌아섰습니다.
