Since April, the Provincial Police have been cracking down on illegal tourism activities targeting foreign tourists and have detected a total of 11 cases.

Most of the cases involved unlicensed guides conducting tourism operations targeting tourists from Chinese-speaking regions.

The Provincial Police emphasize that using unregistered travel agencies can lead to unclear liability in the event of accidents and can negatively impact Jeju's image through the dissemination of misinformation to tourists.

Therefore, they plan to continue the crackdown on such activities to protect the interests of travelers and maintain the integrity of Jeju's image.

불법 관광행위에 대한 단속에 나서 모두 11건을 적발했습니다.

관광 영업행위를 나섰다 적발된 사례 들입니다.

제주자치경찰은
무등록 여행업체를 이용할 경우
사고 발생에 따른 책임소재가 불분명하고
여행객들에게
잘못된 정보 전달로
제주 이미지에 영향을 줄 수 있는 만큼
이에 대한 단속을 지속적으로 추진할 방침입니다.
