Jeju City is conducting special inspections on wastewater treatment facilities at campgrounds ahead of the summer vacation season.

The inspections will target 30 campgrounds operating individual wastewater treatment facilities, focusing on unauthorized discharge of wastewater, compliance with facility management standards, and adherence to effluent water quality standards.

If any violations are found during the inspections, fines and improvement orders will be imposed.

Jeju City plans to take legal action against those who fail to comply with improvement orders or engage in serious violations.

제주시가 여름 휴가철을 앞두고
야영장 오수처리시설을 특별 점검합니다.

점검 대상은 개인오수처리시설을 운영 중인 야영장 30곳으로
오수 무단 배출 행위와 시설 관리기준 준수 여부,
방류수수질기준 준수 여부 등을 중점 확인하게 됩니다.

점검결과 위반사항이 드러날 경우 과태료 부과와
시설 개선명령 등이 이뤄집니다.

제주시는 개선명령을 이행하지 않거나
중대한 위반행위에 대해서는 사법 조치할 방침입니다.
