Seogwipo City is set to proceed with the construction of sewage pipes in areas prone to chronic flooding, caused by soil, leaves, and garbage accumulation.

The city announced that it will allocate a budget of 1 billion won this year to carry out sewage pipe construction and CCTV surveys in the areas of Namwon to Seongsan and Andeok to Daejeong.

Additionally, separate construction of drainage channels will be conducted to prevent flooding damage due to poor drainage caused by sediment accumulation.

The aim is to address and mitigate the issue of flooding by improving the sewage infrastructure and ensuring proper drainage in affected areas.




서귀포시, 상습 침수지 하수관·집수구 준설 추진

토사나 낙엽 쓰레기 등으로
상습 침수가 발생하는 지역 하수관에 대한
준설 공사가 추진됩니다.

서귀포시는 올해 예산 10억 원을 투입해
남원에서 성산 일대 그리고,
안덕에서 대정 일대를 대상으로
하수관로 준설공사와 CCTV 정밀 조사 용역을
추진한다고 밝혔습니다.

또, 집수구 준설공사도 별도로 시행해
퇴적물로 인한 배수 불량으로 침수피해가 발생하지 않도록
대응한다는 계획입니다.
