Jeju 4.3 Peace Memorial Museum Operates Online

The province has completed the construction project for a ‘Smart Jeju 4.3 Peace Memorial Museum’.

After being selected for the ‘Smart Public Museum Construction Support Project’ by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in February of last year, a total investment of 200 million won was allocated for the project.

The smart museum features a 3D exhibition hall, a virtual reality exhibition hall, an online memorial hall, as well as 3D artifacts and relics.

In the online memorial hall, visitors will have the opportunity to virtually explore the memorial hall of the Jeju 4.3 Peace Park in 3D format and locate the names of the victims, paying tribute to their memory and honoring their lives.



온라인으로 만나는 제주 4·3평화기념관 운영

제주특별자치도가
스마트 제주 4.3평화 기념관 구축사업을 마무리했습니다.

지난해 2월 문화체육관광부의
스마트 공립박물관 구축 지원사업에 선정된 후
사업비 2억원을 투입해 구축했습니다.

스마트 4.3평화기념관에는
3D 전시회와 가상현실 전시관,
온라인 추모관,
3D 유물유품 등을 볼 수 있습니다.


특히 온라인 추모관에서는
제주 4.3 평화공원에 있는 위패봉안실 내부를
3D로 둘러보면서
희생자명으로 위치를 확인할 수 있습니다.
