Naming Contest for the Donation Forest

Jeju island is conducting a naming contest for a forest that has been established from donations collected through the Jeju Hometown love donation project.

The forest is expected be completed in the second half of this year at Sarabong Park.
A story linked to ‘(모충사) Mochungsah’ shrine which honors (김만덕) Kim Man-deok, is used as a narrative to help promote the donation.

The naming contest is open to all citizens, and submissions will be accepted until the 14th, with the selected names to be announced in August.

The winner of the contest will receive A prize of 1 million KRW, and the runner-up will receive 500,000 KRW.

The proposed forest is currently under construction on the opposite side of (모충사) Mochungsah within Sarabong Park, with a budget of 500 million KRW allocated for its completion by November.

가칭 제주고향사랑기부숲 명칭을 공모합니다.

의녀 김만덕을 기리는 모충사와 연계되는 기부숲에
스토리텔링을 더해
기부문화 분위기를 확산하기 위한 차원입니다.



공모는 국민 누구나 참여 가능하며
14일까지 접수를 받아
8월 중 선정작을 발표할 예정입니다.

최우수작은 100만원, 우수작은 50만원입니다.

가칭 제주고향사랑기부숲은
사라봉공원 내 모충사 맞은 편에 조성 중으로
사업비 5억원을 들여
오는 11월까지 조성할 계획입니다.
