Jeju’s Business Sentiment Index at 60

The perceived business conditions of companies in the Jeju region have failed to improve and are essentially stagnant.

According to the Jeju Regional Office of the Bank of Korea, Jeju's business sentiment index for June dropped 4 points to 62 compared to the previous month.

The local business sentiment index has been hovering around the 60 mark for four consecutive months, fluctuating up and down since March.

Moreover, the business outlook index for July remained unchanged at 63, reflecting a continued negative trend compared to the previous month.

The decline in business sentiment in Jeju, according to the Bank of Korea's Jeju Regional Office, is attributed to factors such as decreased tourism, rising raw material prices, and the seasonal economic lull.

도내 업황지수는

오르락 내리락을 반복하면서
4개월 연속 60선에 머물고 있습니다.

이와 함께
7월 업황전망지수도
전달과 같은 63을 기록하며
부정적 기류가 우세한 것으로 나타났습니다.


한국은행 제주본부는
관광객 감소와 원자재 가격 상승,
계절적 비수기 등의 영향으로
업황지수가 감소한 것으로 분석했습니다.
