An evacuation experience is being conducted in preparation for air raid alerts.
In May, citizens experienced confusion due to an incorrect alert message sent by Seoul City.
At that time, citizens who did not know the location of the shelters or evacuation procedures had no choice but to be anxious.
Citizens are benefiting greatly from these experiential activities.

If we didn't know the location of the shelter, we would be worried and confused when we need to come in an emergency situation, but actually trying it out, it seems like we can find the location well.
In another location, a simulated earthquake drill is being conducted.
Through the Safety Jeju application, people quickly search for nearby shelters, look at the map, and rush to the nearest shelter, which happens to be the school playground.
In emergency situations like this, the most important thing is to evacuate to a safe place.
First, when an air raid alert occurs, gas and electricity should be shut off, emergency supplies should be prepared, and people should evacuate quickly to shelters.
If a shelter cannot be found, it is safer to go to the nearest building's basement.
On the other hand, during earthquakes, it is best to go outside the building and evacuate to open and spacious areas.
Since buildings and glass windows can break during earthquakes, protect your head and evacuate to places like playgrounds.
Above all, it is good to be aware of the locations of nearby shelters and evacuation procedures.
The locations of shelters can be checked through apps such as Safety Jeju, Safety Cornerstone, and Disaster Safety Portal.

There is an app called Safety Jeju, and if you install it, you can check all the nearby earthquake shelters or emergency shelters in real-time. I recommend utilizing this app.

우리 동네 대피소는 어디에?
커다란 사이렌 소리가 곳곳에 울려퍼집니다.
거리에 울려퍼지는 사이렌 소리에

황급히 어디론가 달려갑니다.
도착한 곳은 건물 지하주차장.
민방공 대피소로 지정된 곳입니다.
대피소로 들어온 이후에도 라디오 소리에 귀를 기울이고
만일에 사태에 대비해 손전등의 위치도 확인합니다.
공습경보에 대비한
대피 체험이 진행되고 있는 겁니다.
실제로 지난 5월,
서울시가 잘못 보낸 경계경보 문자로 혼란을 겪기도 했는데
당시 대피소의 위치나
대피요령 등을 몰랐던 시민들은 불안에 떨어야만 했습니다.

대피소 위치를 몰랐다면 (비상 상황에) 찾아올 때 걱정되고 우왕좌왕할 텐데, 실제로 해 보니까 위치를 잘 찾아올 수 있을 것 같아요.

이처럼
비상상황이 발생했을 때
가장 중요한 것은 안전한 장소로 대피하는 겁니다.
우선 공습 경보가 발생했을 때는
가스와 전기를 차단하고,
비상 물품을 준비해
빠르게 대피소로 대피해야 합니다.
대피소를 찾지 못했다면
가장 가까운 건물 지하로 가는 것이 안전합니다.
반면 지진이 발생했을 ��는
건물 밖으로 나와
되도록 넓은 공간으로 피해야 합니다.
지진으로 인해
건물이나 유리창 등이 깨질 수 있는 만큼
머리를 보호하며
운동장 등으로 대피해야 합니다.
무엇보다 평상시에
가까운 대피소의 위치나
행동요령을 파악해 두는 것이 좋습니다.
