Jeju City has launched a program to provide housing assistance to elderly individuals aged 65 and above who live alone and do not own a home.

The program is specifically designed for elderly citizens who are recipients of basic livelihood support but do not have their own housing. Eligible individuals will receive an annual subsidy ranging from 400,000 to 700,000 won per person.

This housing assistance is separate from the existing housing allowance of 164,000 won provided under the National Basic Livelihood Security Act.

In the previous year, Jeju City allocated a total of 840 million won to support housing for 1,281 individuals.




제주시, 무주택 홀로사는 어르신 주거비 지원


제주시가 만 65살 이상 무주택 홀로사는 어르신을
대상으로 주거비를 지원합니다.

지원 대상은
국민 기초생활 수급자 가운데 주택을 소유하지 않은
만 65세 이상 어르신이며
1인당 40만원에서 70만원이 연 1회 지원됩니다.

이번 주거비 지원은
국민기초생활보장법에 의해 지급되는 16만 4천원의 주거급여와는
별도로 추가 지원됩니다.

제주시는 지난해 8억 4천 만원을 투입해
1천 281명에게 주거비를 지원했습니다.
