Three villages, namely (김녕리) Kimnyeong-ri in (구좌읍) Gujwa-eup, (교래리) Gyorae-ri in (조천읍) Jocheon-eup, and (무릉리) Mureung-ri in (대정읍) Daejeong-eup, have been selected as the new Karumstay villages under the integrated village tourism brand.

Jeju Province and the Jeju Tourism Organization recently launched a competition to identify new Karumstay villages. After assessing criteria such as community-driven initiatives, organizational capabilities, appeal of local resources, and potential for growth, these three villages were chosen.

In order to enhance the immersive tourism experiences in these villages, Jeju Province and the organization will provide consulting services and support the implementation of pilot tourism products.

Additionally, there are plans to share best practices and pursue networking initiatives, including collaborative product development, through interactions with existing Karumstay villages.

제주시 구좌읍 김녕리와 조천읍 교래리,
서귀포시 대정읍 무릉리 등 3개 마을이
마을관광 통합브랜드인 '카름스테이' 신규마을로
이름을 올렸습니다.

제주도와 제주관광공사는
최근 카름스테이 신규마을을 공모하고
주민주도 추진체계와 조직력,
마을 자원의 매력성, 성장 가능성 등을 평가해
이들 3개 마을을 선정했습니다.

제주도와 공사는
이들 마을의 체류형 관광상품을 고도화하기 위해
컨설팅과 함께 시범 상품 운영을 지원합니다.

아울러 기존 카름스테이 마을과 교류를 통해 우수사례를 공유하고, 연계상품 개발 등 네트워킹 사업도 후속적으로 추진할 계획입니다
