The Haenyeo Museum is currently hosting an exhibition titled "Capturing the Jeju Sea" by artist (양지혜) Yang Ji-hye and will run until the 6th of next month.

In this showcase of craftsmanship, art pieces made from epoxy resin, a popular material for crafts, is used to capture the essence of Jeju's landscapes and the captivating presence of the Haenyeo. Over 40 art pieces will be displayed.

Various items crafted using Jeju's natural materials such as sand, seashells, basalt, and volcanic moss will also be exhibited.

해녀박물관서 열려
아름다운 제주바다와 해녀를 소재로 한
양지혜 작가의 공예전이
다음달 6일까지 해녀박물관에서 열립니다.

이번 공예전에서 작가는
공예용 합성수지인 레진을 재료로
흐름을 이용해
제주 섬과 바다에 있는 해녀의 모습을 표현한
40여 점의 작품을 선보입니다.


또 모래와 조개, 현무암, 화산송이 등
제주의 자연물을 이용한 다양한 소품도 함께 전시될 예정입니다.
