Governor Oh Young-hoon and Chinese Ambassador to South Korea, Xing Haiming, have agreed to actively cooperate for the resumption of group tourism from China.

On the 26th, following the opening ceremony of the Jeju International Exchange Week for future development between South Korea and China, Governor Oh held a meeting with Ambassador Xing Haiming at Dream Tower. During the meeting, Governor Oh requested the cooperation of the Chinese authorities to allow group tourism from China.

In response, Ambassador Xing expressed his understanding of the necessity to resume group tourism and pledged to actively cooperate.

한중 미래발전 제주국제교류주간 개막식 후
싱하이밍 대사와 차담회를 갖고
중국인 단체관광이 허용될 수 있도록
중국 당국의 협조를 요청했습니다.

이에 대해 싱하이밍 대사는
단체관광 재개 필요성에 공감하며
중국 정부에
제주도의 요청 사항을 전달하는 등 적극 협력하겠다는 뜻을 밝혔습니다.
