The Jeju Autonomous Police has booked Mr. A, the representative of a well-known theme park on the island, on charges of unauthorized damage to mountainous areas.

Allegedly, Mr. A has illegally damaged approximately 30,000 square meters of land near the theme park over the past years and has also constructed walking paths without proper authorization.

The police are investigating to determine if there were any issues with administrative permits related to these allegations and are questioning the relevant officials involved in the permitting process.

In addition, the Province is initiating an investigation to ascertain whether there were any irregularities in the hiring process of high-ranking officials at the theme park.



산지 무단 훼손 의혹 테마파크 대표 입건


제주도 자치경찰단은
산지를 무단 훼손한 혐의 등으로
도내 모 테마파크 대표 A씨를 입건했습니다.

A 씨는 수년 전 부터
테마파크 일대 임야 3만여 제곱미터를
불법 훼손하고 산책로 등을 조성한 혐의를 받고 있습니다.

자치경찰은
이번 의혹과 관련해
행정의 인허가 절차에는 문제가 없는지
담당 공무원들을 상대로도 조사를 진행하고 있습니다.

이와함께 제주도는
고위 공무원 출신이 해당 테마파크에 취업하는
과정에 문제가
없었는지 조사에 착수했습니다.
