Starting in August, vehicles parked illegally on sidewalks for over 1 minute will face fines of at least 40,000 won when reported through a reporting application.

In the province, fines for illegal parking will be imposed starting from August after the guidance period for the resident reporting system.

Notably, the reporting criteria, previously varying across different local governments, have now been standardized to 1 minute. Consequently, any vehicle parked illegally for 1 minute or longer at sidewalks will incur fines upon being reported by residents.

For regular passenger cars a fine of 40,000 won for general violations, 80,000 won for violations in front of fire facilities and areas designated for the protection of seniors and disabled,
and a fine of 120,000 won for violations in children protection zones will be imposed.

8월부터
이에 대한 과태료 부과를 시작합니다.

특히 지자체별로 다르게 적용했던 신고 기준도 1분으로 통일돼 인도에서 1분 이상 차량의 일부라도
주정차를 하는 경우
주민이 신고하면 과태료 부과 대상이 됩니다.


승용차의 경우
일반 위반 4만원,
소방시설물 표지 내 또는 장애인.노인보호구역
위반 8만원, 어린이 보호구역 위반 12만원입니다.
