Police Continue Monitoring Use of Weapons

As armed violence incidents have occurred one after another in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and other areas, the Jeju Provincial Police Agency is also strengthening its on-site response and preventive activities.

During a meeting chaired by Chief (이상률) Lee Sang-ryul, the Jeju Provincial Police decided to increase patrols in crime-prone areas and enhance surveillance in multiple facilities.

Reports of individuals carrying weapons will trigger a Code Zero, mobilizing all nearby detective personnel for an immediate response, significantly expanding the on-site response force.

Additionally, social media and local Jeju community platforms will be monitored for any posts regarding violent threats, and in cases of suspicious activities, swift apprehension will be pursued.

아울러 SNS나 제주지역 커뮤니티를 대상으로
살인이나 범죄 예고 글이 올라오는지 모니터링하고
의심 사례에 대해서는 영장 집행을 통해 신속히 검거할 방침입니다.
