Jeju Island will survey the usage of agricultural land from this month until November.

The survey will target 46,998 plots, including agricultural land acquired in the past five years, land within permitted land transaction zones, and land owned by agricultural corporations.

The survey aims to understand the ownership and usage of these lands and investigate any violations of agricultural land laws, such as unauthorized leasing or following.

If any violations are found in the survey results, administrative actions, including hearings, will be taken, leading to potential land disposal measures.

Non-compliance with a disposal order for agricultural land violating the Agricultural Land Law results in a penalty of 25% of the higher value between the publicly announced individual land price and the appraised value.

제주도가 이달부터 오는 11월까지
농지 이용 실태를 조사합니다.

조사 대상은
최근 5년 동안 취득한 농지와
토지거래허가구역 내 농지,
농업법인 소유 농지 등 4만6천998필지 입니다.

제주도는 해당 농지의 소유와 이용 실태를 파악하고
불법 임대차나 무단 휴경 등
농지법 위법 사항을 조사할 방침입니다.

조사 결과
위법 사항이 확인되면 청문 절차 등을 거쳐
농지 처분 등 행정 조치할 계획입니다.

농지법을 위반해 농지 처분 명령을 받은 후
처분 명령 기간까지 이행하지 않으면
개별공시지가와 감정평가액 중
더 높은 가액의 25%에 해당하는
이행강제금을 납부해야 합니다.
